Be mesmerised by Mountain Lights, an immersive, large-scale light installation by the internationally acclaimed artist Bruce Munro. The British talent brings together light art inspired by the topography, geology and mythology of Niseko, where a majestic mix of volcanoes, snow and ice have been created for over a millennia.
Displayed along the slopes of Hanazono Resort and reaching to the foot of the mountain range, this art installation has been further expanded in 2024 to include two new large-scale exhibitions that bring colour and sound to the formerly monochromatic palette of Mountain Lights.
Access the venue by taking a gondola ride where you can admire aerial views of the light installation while making your way up the mountain slope. Then alight from the gondola cabin and make your way down with a romantic stroll among the lights to best appreciate the atmospheric quality of Mountain Lights.

- Requests for changes or cancellations should be sent via email to [email protected].
- Please note our 100% cancellation policy for cancellations made within 16 days prior to arrival.
- 20% cancellation policy and JPY 4,000 fee will be charged for cancellations made 16 or more days prior to arrival.
- A booking is not confirmed until payment is received, and confirmation letter is sent.
- As per our reservations team recommendation at the time of booking, we highly encourage all guests to arrange travel insurance.
