An absolute must try!
If you're staying in Niseko this winter, Ristorante Pizzeria R Niseko is an absolute must try. Having just opened in The Maples Niseko, this new restaurant fills a much-needed pizza void in Grand Hirafu after Niseko Pizza's move to Kutchan.
Manager Masahiko Murata goes above and beyond to stick to classic Italian recipes, giving an authentic experience for the customer. The Japanese twist however, is the use of local ingredients from Hokkaido for a refreshing flavour. Each pizza is handmade and cooked in Hokkaido's largest artisan oven to absolute perfection.
We have heard from the team that it is common for customers to return the following day for takeaway. So be prepared to eat here multiple times during your stay - the food is just that good!
A few of our favourites were:
Classic Margherita - ¥2800
Quattro Formagi - ¥3500
Pizza Jagata-kun - ¥3600
Tarutofo - ¥4500
The pizzas are quite large, so we highly recommend taking a group of friends or family so you can try a few different flavours between you.
They also have an excellent selection of fine wine, sake, whiskey and craft beer, so you'll be sure to have a memorable dining experience.
