NISADE | The Luxe Nomad Strengthens Longstanding Partnership with Burapha University International College
19 December 2025: Reinforcing its commitment to nurturing future hospitality talent, NISADE | The Luxe Nomad has renewed its longstanding partnership with Burapha University International College (BUUIC), a leading institution known for its emphasis on practical, real-world learning through its Global Cooperative Education program.
Designed to bridge academic study with industry experience, BUUIC’s program connects students with international internships, cooperative projects, and cross-cultural opportunities, preparing them for careers in the global hospitality landscape.
To mark the renewal, Assistant Professor Dr. Krittipat Pitchayadejanant, Dean of BUUIC, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Nucharee Pookaman, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, and Ms. Hataipat Phungpumkaew, Associate Dean for Global Relations, met with the leadership team from Niseko Alpine Developments (NISADE). Representing NISADE | The Luxe Nomadwere Mr. Patrick Ohtani, Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Steve Greenaway, HR Director, Ms. Ayako Sayo, People Manager, and Mr. Jayan Shrestha, Hotel Manager.
The meeting culminated in the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), celebrating over a decade of successful collaboration. Throughout this partnership, NISADE | The Luxe Nomad has consistently welcomed BUUIC students into its internship programs, providing immersive, hands-on experience within an international hospitality environment.
Patrick Ohtani, Chief Operating Officer of NISADE | The Luxe Nomad, comments, “Over the years, we’ve seen many successful internships through BUUIC, and we’re especially proud that some interns have returned to join us as full-time team members.”
Looking ahead, the renewed agreement underscores a shared vision to further enhance internship and professional training initiatives.
