My family and I had a great experience staying at the Vale this winter season. The shuttle bus was easily accessible and just made the stay so much more comfortable. Not having to walk to places within rusutsu or carry ski gear in the cold was greatly appreciated. The international staff made us feel very much at home, and welcomed all questions and request. Our 2br was extremely comfortable, and ski in ski out made the experience very much enjoyable. Note: the shuttle bus to the hotel from Sapporo only comes at set times.

Just had a visit to Rusutsu for a ski week staying the Vale for the second time which is an excellent hotel with all the amenities. Comfortable rooms, prompt and helpful service and usefully connected to the main hotel.

A beautifully equipped and located condominium on the foothills of the Rusutsu ski resort. The cafe was excellent for our daily breakfast, a great mini grocery shop and the pizzas made there were delicious. The staff there were excellent, especially the three ladies. Stunning rooms with all you need and the onsen on site was a great end to a powder-filled fortnight. Rooms were serviced around every other day. The staff on reception tried their best to accommodate needs of guests, more local knowledge of where to eat, grocery shop etc, would have made it 5/5 for this category.

We normally stay in hotels however this trip stayed in a luxury 2-bedroom apartment which was excellent. The whole unit was spacious and well equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms very spacious and comfortable. Ski in / ski out. Staff very accommodating. Recommend highly.

Very tourist friendly with good portion of staff fluent in English. All personnel enthusiastically helpful. Dropped my action camera on the slopes second last day of my trip, lady at the reception counter and hotel’s speedy shuttle service helped us retrieve the device before check out!
