What to expect for spring skiing
Spring in Hokkaido means more sunny days and laps with views. Snow conditions will be better in Early May - and then the snow slowly starts to melt through until early May when the lifts close.
Spring skiing is one of the best times to travel if you want to:
- Ensure great views of Mt Yotei
- Avoid the busy crowds - and get access to the best restaurants
- Spend most of your time on-piste on the main runs
- Enjoy activities other than skiing - like snowmobiling or horse riding in the snow
- Get the best value all season
