Niseko
Discover Japan's most popular ski resort and the powder snow capital
ExploreWelcome to NISADE | The Luxe Nomad, where we manage Japan’s most sought-after ski-in, ski-out hotels, stylish condo-hotels, and thoughtfully designed chalets. With a portfolio of more than 20 properties and over 900 rooms, we proudly claim the title of Hokkaido’s largest vacation rental management company.
But don’t let our size fool you; we’re all about the personal touch. When you stay with us, you can count on a warm welcome and genuine care that makes you feel right at home. From winter ski adventures in Niseko to summer getaways filled with blooming trails in Furano, our collection offers the amenities of a luxury hotel with the charm of a local team.
Come and experience our legendary powder, which draws guests from all over the world. Or enjoy summer with us, where rates are refreshingly affordable, and activities like golfing, hiking, biking, and indulging in the fresh mountain air are all on the agenda.
Whether you’re carving through Hokkaido’s powder triangle or chasing lavender in Furano, your stay begins with more than just a booking. Every guest receives complimentary concierge service, tailored to their tastes and needs because no two holidays should feel the same.
Our properties aren’t just hand-picked by us; they can also be tailored to fit your needs, mood, travel style and schedule. From ski-in ski-out access to private onsen with a view, we make sure every detail feels like it was planned by someone who knows you.
Launched in 2012, The Luxe Nomad has grown from a boutique booking platform into Asia-Pacific’s leading luxury property manager, with over 1,400 rooms across Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia.
We don’t just list — we curate. Every property in our collection is chosen for its location, architecture, and individuality. From managing private villas to creating hyper-local guest journeys, we operate with the polish of a hotel and the intuition of a host.
In 2023, we acquired NISADE. By bringing our hospitality expertise to the peaks of Hokkaido, we created a powder-perfect match for Luxe Nomads seeking something beyond the ordinary.
A dyed-in-the-wool ski fanatic, Jonathan Martin is one of Niseko’s key property developers. In the early 2000s, he came from Australia on a ski trip in Hokkaido and never left. Martin founded Niseko Alpine Developments (NISADE) in 2006 with a bold idea that Japan’s legendary powder deserved a world-class stage.
Over the last 20 years, NISADE hasn’t just built beautiful spaces — we have reshaped Niseko into a premier alpine destination. It started with The Vale Niseko, our ski-in ski-out flagship property that would go on to be named the World’s Best Ski Boutique Hotel for four years running. Since then, our portfolio has grown across Niseko, Furano, and Rusutsu, with everything from striking architectural chalets to design-driven modern apartments. Some of our award-winning properties like The Vale Rusutsu and Tsubasa at Hanaridge are equally adored by guests and recognized as the best by global travel experts.
Presently, NISADE’s real estate division is led by Martin, who continues to spearhead innovative developments across Hokkaido.
If you own a luxury chalet or boutique condo-hotel and believe it deserves best-in-class management, we should talk. We work with discerning owners across Hokkaido and beyond to turn properties into sought-after destinations, with high-touch service and high-performance results.
We’re not your average travel company, and our team’s far from ordinary either. With talent from Japan, Korea, the UK, Australia, and beyond, we’re building and growing a borderless talent pool shaped by a global perspective.
If you’ve got a sixth sense for great stays, a thing for spreadsheets and sunsets, followed by an appreciation of local culture, we would love to hear from you.
