Niseko Alpine Developments (NISADE) was founded in 2005 by people with a striking vision. Inspired by the powdery wealth of Hirafu’s ski fields, they launched several alpine properties offering the ultimate in alpine comfort. These exceptional developments paved the way for NISADE to become the largest fully integrated property specialist in Niseko, Hokkaido.
From design and construction through to property management and real estate, NISADE prides itself on setting new standards of Niseko excellence. We deliver a complete continuum of essential management components that powers a project from concept to completion. From single dwellings to apartment buildings and on to full-scale resort planning, we are involved in over SUSD400m worth of projects in Niseko.

Jonathan Martin, Chairman
Based in Whistler, Canada, Jonathan leaves day-to-day operations to the Niseko team but still plays a valuable role in major strategy planning and is the heart and soul behind NISADE’s core values.
With over fifteen years in property development Jonathan has an extensive knowledge and skill base in Development Management. These skills were honed managing the money of high net worth individuals in property development across industrial, commercial and residential development. As a founding shareholder of the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) licensed Quantum Syndicate Management Ltd., Jonathan experienced the entire development mandate, from site identification, project financing, due diligence, project management, and construction through to the finality of sales. Having developed circa USD$300m in residential property and projects, he is well versed in the processes and key competencies that ensure project success. Leaving Quantum, Jonathan’s vision was to focus on sustainable property investment in the alpine environments throughout the world.
His dedication and passion saw this dream come true.
