The NISADE Guest Services team recently had the incredible opportunity to try Hanazono's Zipflight here in Niseko. It was so good - even our afraid-of-heights team members had a blast!

Our experience
With a total distance of 2,591 meters and speeds exceeding 110km/h (making it the longest zip line in Japan) walking up to the MACH 3 had us a little nervous we must admit. However from the moment we arrived, the Hanazono summer staff greeted us with warm smiles and kindness - and supported us all of the way through.

After checking in at the Hanazono summer base we were guided into our safety gear and made the short walk to the gondola. It's a strange feeling riding the gondola without skis and snow but the view is amazing as always.

We were surprised at just how fast it was (lucky we were wearing the provided clear plastic glasses). As we soared through the sky, we were greeted by the breathtaking sight of Mount Yotei. Time to go again?!

For thrill seekers, families or event those worried about heights

• With two parallel zip lines, you can share this unforgettable experience with your friends and family.
• A little scared? Start with the slightly less challenging MACH 1 and gradually work your way up to the climax of MACH 3, becoming more comfortable with the height, speed, and flying style along the way.
• Zipflight uses a sit in system - which removes the need to make that first - and for some (like our Marketing Manager) terrifying - jump.
• The zipline truly caters to a wide range of participants, ensuring that everyone can join in on the excitement.

One of Niseko's best summer activities
After experiencing Hanazono Zipflight, we can confidently say that we would happily do it again... (and again!) and highly recommend! The combination of friendly staff, smooth process, breathtaking views, and exhilarating speeds made it an unforgettable adventure.
