Located in the heart of Hirafu village, this bar is well-known by locals and frequent visitors for its 'fridge door' at the entrance. This intimate bar is renowned for its selection of carefully crafted cocktails, whiskey and wine. The décor is rustic and welcoming, with exposed brick walls and a roaring fireplace creating a warm and cozy atmosphere.
Local's tip - Bar Gyu+ is one of the more pricey bars in town, however the atmosphere and quality of drinks is definitely worth it. Don't forget to get your Instagram photo by their famous fridge door.
An Amercian style clubhouse, for apres, smokehouse dining, cocktails, craft beers and more. Come 10pm it transforms into a wild saloon from the west with table top dancing taking centre stage as they host you into the night. DJ's, huge crowds and plenty of room to dance make this a venue worth visiting if you like night clubs.
Local's tip - If you like to party, Freddie's is the place to be. The crowd starts to arrive after 10pm and often won't leave till the early hours of the morning.
Half Note Bar is a popular live music venue located in the heart of Hirafu village. The bar features live music performances from local and international musicians over the winter, making it the perfect spot for music lovers. They also host weekly trivia, bingo and other event nights which makes it an excellent place to take a group and join in on the fun. The drinks menu is extensive, with a range of craft beers, wines, and cocktails on offer. It's also one of the only places in Hirafu where you can get your hands on an Aussie meat pie.
Local's tip - keep up to date with Half Note's event nights by following them on social media. They often fill seats fast so make sure to get there early!
Lush sofas, a crackling fireplace, tasty cocktails and a fresh, comfort food menu make Musu a popular bistro bar for those that like a first-class experience. Located on the second floor of Odin Place, the central location means the venue has beautiful views of Hirafu village at night.
Local's tip - the atmosphere at Musu makes it excellent for date night. Take your loved one out for some fancy cocktails with a beautiful view of the Hirafu village.
Conveniently located on Grand Hirafu's main street, Tamashii has been a staple in Niseko's night life for many years. A relaxed bar with excellent quality food, stop by for a few beverages or grab a booth and enjoy a meal after a day on the slopes. Tamashii often hold parties on weekends during the winter season, with famous DJ sets and music to dance until your heart is content.
Local's tip - Tamashii is often less crowded than Wild Bills or Freddie's. Pre-drinking here is a great option before moving to the busier venues for a dance.
One of the best late-night venues in Grand Hirafu, Wild Bills is where you'll find the party-goers dancing the night away until the late hours. With free pool, darts and a mouth-watering Tex-Mex food menu, it makes for a relaxed spot to stop by for a few beverages after a day on the slopes. Later into the night the bar transforms into night-club atmosphere (especially on weekends), where you'll find live DJ's and a large dance floor to really let loose.
Local's tip - Bills has arguably the best pool table in town. Drop in early in the afternoon before the crowd to enjoy a game over a few beers with your friends.
